The latest in SITU’s Fitting series of design studios and workshops is a Pattern Alteration for Fitting Changes Workshop where we will make learn about and practice making pattern alterations due to fitting.

At this workshop, we will practice:
  • using pattern making tools
  • drawing seam lines

    muslin to the pattern
  • blending the seams
  • adding seam allowance
  • placing and creating notches
  • moving the placement of a seam

If we have time, we will also discuss moving a dart and truing dart legs.

Your supply fee covers two patterns that you will practice upon, as well as extra tracing paper.
