SITU-U is proud to present a new instructor for this Workshop. It's Miss Sara!

 Beginners Class I:

 Discuss different yarn and tool types and their pros and cons. How to hold the yarn and hook in your hands.

Stitches covered (American style) single, double, triple, shell, half or slip stitch, chain, how to move up a row and turn the project over. 

 Students will take a hook and yarn home with them along with review instructions.
 

Beginners Class II:

Review of basic stitches covered in
Class I, begin working on simple project such as a wash cloth or scarf (note the need for repetitive stitches to get muscle and visual memory down as well practice even tension for stitches). 

For those who can keep an even tension on their stitches, some simple patterns will be provided (TBD – finger or coin purses, reticules, crochet blouse collar, etc)
 

Cost:

 $5, which will reserve your spot and cover materials

What to bring:

 Your eager mind and clever fingers! Hook, yarn and handouts will be provided to all who register.

Miss Sara is Somewhere in Time, Unlimited's newest Board Member, in charge of planning our major events.

For this gathering, she has graciously agreed to teach us the basics of crochet.  If you, or someone you know, has been interested in learning this timeless handiwork, NOW is the time to take advantage of this opportunity!.
