Color Class Workshop

You know your favorite colors, but what about other colors?  Does blouse “A” go with skirt “B” and what about jacket “C”?  What colors go together well?  What are the best colors for you, whether they are your favorites or not? What accessories would be best?  What bonnet should I wear?  Why on earth did I buy such a thing in that color?  Learn about the world of color and have some fun deciding what to do about that item(s) that you have no idea why you bought it.

Our instructor for this Workshop is SITU's own talented "Countess", Roxann Malley!  Trained in The Arts, she will use her artistic and technical knowledge to benefit SITU members and friends.  A real treat you won't want to miss for sure!

Please note this is NOT a Color Me Beautiful class.
Agenda: 1) A very short talk about color theory. 
2) Review of exhibits/paste-ups. 
3) Paper-dolls.  
4) Lunch break.
5) Scarves and color draping. 
6) Why did I buy that and what can I do with it?

Food:

Please bring your own lunch as there are
no food stores close by.

Location:

 A south Seattle location.
Driving directions will be sent the week of
the gathering, to those who have registered.

Cost:

 $5

Bring:

Participants should bring plain scarves or
plain lengths of material for draping around themselves
and others.  As we will be handling the cloth, please do
not bring fragile fabrics!

Please wear neutral colors, such as tan, cream, pale
grey or pale blue, if you want to try out colors on yourself.
It is easier to determine what looks good on you if you
are wearing neutral colors. Please NO black or white.
