SITU-University
proudly presents:

"Parasol Re-covery"

Saturday
August 23, 2014

SOLD OUT!!!

“To protect their fair complexions, ladies use a parasol.”
Thus sang Caractacus Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Ladies of SITU, we have an opportunity for you to gussy up your parasols and you don’t even have to sing if you don’t want to.

Saturday, August 23, 2014, SITU’s own Mary Hafner-Laney will be teaching a parasol covering workshop.

If you have a parasol that has lost its original fabric or just needs a facelift, here is your chance to learn how to make it look like new.

Mary has graciously agreed to lend her considerable experience and expertise to teach us how to recover our time-worn treasures.

Recovering parasols is a challenging and “fiddly” effort. This workshop will teach you the skills you need to recover a parasol, start you drafting and cutting your recovering mock-up, and teach you next steps to finish your project. We will not be completing our projects in this workshop.
