Somewhere in Time - Valentine's Day Tea 2010 - Victorian Clothing, Victorian Dress, High Tea, Queen Mary's Tea Room, Seattle

Join Lady Victoria, Sir Harry of Essex and Miss Sharon (of Bothell) for a pleasant afternoon, February 14, 2010.

We'll spend the late afternoon together on this Valentine's Day while we enjoy a good cup of tea, coffee or even champagne, to celebrate the day!

Queen Mary's Tearoom in Seattle is our host site for this marvelous Dress-up Opportunity. You may purchase anything from her delicious regular menu, including a "high tea" if you prefer. We ask only that you indicate in advance what you'd like to order so the restaurant is prepared.

Seating is limited to 25 people for this gathering!!!

SITU is accepting a $10 per person attending deposit. This amount is used to hold reservation space for you. IF YOU FAIL TO ATTEND after the deposit has been made, then the restaurant will use it towards the cancellation penalty SITU will be charged. Otherwise, the $10 will be given back to you in cash at the restaurant so you can use it towards your tab.

Attire:

Ladies: No particular era is suggested. Come dressed in items that are evocative of "Valentine" such as lacey blouses, colors such as red, pink, white, ivory, etc.
For the gentlemen: Dress in classy sweater or vest, no jacket required. Ties are okay.

Entertainment:

Miss Sharon is putting together a gift exchange game for those of us interested in playing along. Participation is not required.

Bring along a wrapped, small item (price cap of $10 okay?) which might contain red, pink, a Valentine image, be ideal for a "tea", maybe something a gentleman might enjoy too. Use your imagination!

Lady Victoria would like to fill the reservation requests by end of business day, 2/4/10 and
all payments received by Friday 5pm, 2/12/10. This is a non-refundable deposit
for this Dress-up Opportunity.
